Jenelle is a healthcare strategist with academic backgrounds in Nursing, Business Administration, and Communications and more than a decade of experience across emergency, acute, behavioral health, post-acute, payer, and value-based care. Beginning in the emergency department and serving medically and socially complex populations taught her to see beyond the diagnosis and address barriers to health.

Through Boston’s One Care program, she embraced whole-person care, uniting clinical, behavioral health, and community teams around shared goals and accountability. In leadership roles, she partnered with healthcare executives, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen high-risk care strategies, care coordination, discharge planning, and level-of-care and length-of-stay management while improving outcomes and managing costs.

Connected care became personal during her cancer diagnosis. Collaboration among specialists supported her recovery and reinforced her conviction that no patient should navigate fragmented care alone. Now cancer-free, Jenelle brings her experience as a clinician, leader, and patient to Halo Health Connect, which she founded on the belief that connected care improves lives.

Outside her work, Jenelle finds joy in family and community. She lives in Lake Nona with her husband, Dr. Jason Crespo, and share two daughters, Sofia and Scarlett. She cherishes time with her extended family and close-knit community and enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and getting lost in a good thriller.

Mayelline is a Puerto Rico–born Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and extensive experience across behavioral health and medical settings. She has devoted her career to helping diverse individuals and families navigate complex challenges, chronic conditions, and crises with compassionate, person-centered support that recognizes their unique strengths, needs, and circumstances.

Her work spans hospitals, nursing homes, intermediate care facilities, physician offices, and hospice care. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, she brings a comprehensive perspective to domestic violence intervention, developmental disabilities, primary care integration, elder care, end-of-life support, and traumatic loss, helping people and families through some of their most vulnerable moments across care settings.

Guided by compassion and faith in people’s resilience, Mayelline advocates for vulnerable populations and works to enhance well-being throughout critical life transitions. She is grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and remains committed to ensuring that every person she serves feels heard, valued, and supported through life’s challenges with dignity.

Outside her work, Mayelline’s greatest joy is her family. She lives in Orlando with her husband, Josue Torres, and together they have five children and two grandsons. She enjoys traveling, reading, and dancing, and especially cherishes time with loved ones, finding gratitude and purpose in the life and relationships they share.
