Jenelle is a healthcare strategist with academic backgrounds in Nursing, Business Administration, and Communications and more than a decade of experience across emergency, acute, behavioral health, post-acute, payer, and value-based care settings. She began her career in the emergency department and later worked with medically and socially complex populations, experiences that taught her to look beyond the clinical record, understand the barriers affecting a person's health, and build care around the person behind the diagnosis.

While working in Boston, Jenelle joined the One Care program and discovered a different way of thinking about healthcare, one centered on treating the whole person and bringing clinical, behavioral health, and community-based teams together around shared goals and accountability. She carried those principles into leadership roles, partnering with hospital executives, physicians, clinical teams, and operational leaders to design strategies for high-risk populations, strengthen care coordination and discharge planning, improve level-of-care and length-of-stay management, and identify opportunities to improve both outcomes and cost.

Her belief in connected care became deeply personal when Jenelle was diagnosed with cancer. As a patient relying on multiple specialists, she experienced firsthand how much communication, collaboration, and coordination across disciplines mattered. The interdisciplinary care she received played a meaningful role in her recovery and reinforced a conviction that had been building throughout her career: no patient should have to navigate fragmented care alone. Today, Jenelle is cancer-free.

Those experiences as a clinician, healthcare leader, and patient ultimately led Jenelle to found Halo Health Connect, built on a simple belief: when care is truly connected, people experience better outcomes. Her work is grounded in the same values that shape her personal life: connection, resilience, and community. Jenelle resides in Lake Nona with her husband, Dr. Jason Crespo, and together they have two daughters, Sofia and Scarlett. She values time with her large extended family and close-knit community and finds joy in traveling, exploring new restaurants, and getting lost in a good thriller.

Mayelline is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker born in Puerto Rico. She is proud of the journey that has shaped both her personal and professional life. Mayelline has devoted her career to supporting individuals and families across behavioral health and medical settings.

She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and brings extensive experience helping diverse populations navigate complex life challenges, chronic conditions, and crises.

Throughout her career, Mayelline has had the privilege of working with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with professionals from different fields to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and person-centered care. Her experience includes serving clients across a wide continuum of care, including hospitals, nursing homes, intermediate care facilities (ICFs), physician offices, and hospice care.

Her versatile background encompasses specialized work in domestic violence intervention, support for individuals with developmental disabilities, primary care integration, caring for the elderly, support for families during end-of-life stages, and helping families cope with traumatic loss. These experiences have allowed Mayelline to support people during some of the most challenging and vulnerable moments of their lives. Guided by compassion and a person-centered approach, she remains committed to advocating for vulnerable populations, enhancing patient well-being, and providing robust support to families during critical life transitions.

Beyond her professional life, Mayelline's greatest joy and blessing is her family. She resides in Orlando with her husband, Josue Torres, and together they have five beautiful children and two handsome grandsons.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, dancing, and most importantly, spending quality time with her loved ones.

She is grateful for the life she has been blessed with and for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Her journey continues to be guided by compassion, faith in the strength of people, and a commitment to helping others feel heard, valued, and supported.
